Located at 1000 Main Street, the campus of W. J. Carroll Intermediate School has provided a community school setting since the late 1800’s. The school currently serves students in grades 4th-6th grade.  W J Carroll Intermediate School is ranked an above average school with an A on the state report card, serving over 400 students. W J Carroll is a Leader in Me Lighthouse School.

We strive to provide a positive learning community that develops respectful, responsible, and resourceful citizens to ensure success for all.  We empower our students by instructing them on how to live the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People through the Leader in Me process.

Peer Helpers is a comprehensive, peer-to-peer prevention and support program.

Math can be fun...students learned about fractions using Hershey’s bars—who knew math could be so tasty? 

Artistic Field Trips

Project Jubilee students had an unforgettable time at the United States Sports Academy and Museum! They immersed themselves in the vibrant sports art and created their own masterpieces.

C.O.W. Day

C.O.W. (Careers on Wheels) Day: students are to learn outside of the classroom and visit different businesses to learn about possible future career opportunities.
