This week we are beginning to read the novel "Tuck Everlasting" in reading.


Monday- Read Chapters 1-3. Word Detective-create a 3 column chart listing word/page#/sentence(substitute with appropriate synonym.

Tuesday-Read Chapters 4-7. Work on Literature Circle role.

Wednesday- Read Chapters 8-10. Continue Word Detective-Chapters 8-10.

Thursday-Review for test on Friday. Make sure that Word Detective and journals are completed.

Friday-Test on Chapters1-10.


Social Studies-

Monday-Work on Invention Project. Make sure that you have your facts for the computer lab on Thursday.

Tuesday- Read Chapter 19.3.

Wednesday- Answer questions on page 575 #2 and 5.

Thursday- Work on project.

Friday- Turn in project and present.



Monday- Study for test on Chapter 15 sections 1-3 on Tuesday.

Our first field trip is to Dauphin Island Sea Lab. The permission forms and money should be returned on or by Tuesday, Septemeber 24, 2013. The forms were also sent home on Tuesday.

Friday:Complete labeling map.

AR testing has begun! Students should be reading their AR book if they do not have homework.

September 2, is Labor Day Holiday, no school!
