The W. J. Carroll Library moved into the media center area of our brand new 21st century learning facility in July 2008. It's big and it's better than every. With the center loaded from wall-to-wall with stories to enjoy, our students will check-out books throughout the day finding great literature within their designated reading range. And of course, the non-fiction area is loaded with information needed for curricular tasks, hardcopy research, and pleasure reading. Our computer research center is equipped with up-to-date technology necessary for practicing Library 2.0 skills. We can't wait to start our information literacy classes! It's a new era and we ready.
We encourage parents to read to, read with, or just support your child's evening and weekend reading efforts. Books can take us to places that we can't even begin to venture. Become a library book partner. Go to the forms section of this library web page and read all about donating brand new books to your library. New books are always needed. Got older books to donate? We'll take them, too. They must, however, be books that are on our students' reading levels. And remember, parents are always welcome to visit and/or assist in the library any day that they wish. We need you to help us fulfill the library mission. SO-ooo, come on in. The view is fine @your library media center!
